nine

Today, nine years ago, me and Vincent first got together. We were 14 and slept over at a friends house.
Sometime around 2 am everyone was asleep and while the moon shone bright and round we shared a kiss.

I love you, Vincent.

Lazy Sunday

i hope you all had an enjoyable weekend!
friday night vincent and i visited a theatre premiere which was horrible, really. just after ten minutes i really wanted to escape that place, but since all of vincents classmates and some of his teachers were there, he couldn't leave and i didn't want him to suffer alone. so we both had to endure it.

saturday was really a great day. it started with hearts in my muesli and sunshine in the sky. vince and i took a walk through the city, i bought groceries because my sister came for a visit that afternoon. i made an amazing vegan potato-zucchini-butternut squash gratin and some apple-beet-salad.
it was delicious. afterwards we went for a drink with a couple of friends of mine. my sister is 10 years older than me, so i never got to hang out with her and my friends before.
what i thought could be really awkward was actually really nice. we had a great time.

today it was cold and uninviting outside again. so i stayed at home and enjoyed almond milk hot chocolate. yum.

Is it getting colder where you live right now?

Ain't no mountain high enough

our beautiful view of "Mönch, Eiger and Jungfrau"
 i love the colours

so today vincent and i climbed "the gurten" which is the local mountain of bern. in comparison to the alps which lie right behind the gurten this is a hill, really. but anyhow, it was one of the first sunny day in the last weeks and we wanted to properly greet the autumn.
it was great. the last time we went it was still winter and the snow was so high, we couldn't take a walk.
i loved how the colours of the trees start to change and how it gets a bit chilly. i don't really like extreme weather. i love snow - if its sunny. but i can't stand snowy rain and grey skies.

it was a perfect day and we took some great pictures!

So how do like the beginning of the new season? do you celebrate it somehow? do you try to get outside as much as possible?
